Sunday Midtown. Stay in! That rain is coming down.
I have spent much of the day reading my book “Ghost in the Wires” by Kevin Mitnick.
The book is very good. I find it funny that Mitnick ended up spying on those officials who were tapping his phone lines. I have read other books about his pursuit and capture. It is interesting to read the same story through the eyes of the former fugitive.
Later, we headed over to lunch at La Hacienda at Highland and Poplar. I ordered the cheese enchilada plate.
My wife had a fajita plate and a margarita.
I played another round of the old school video game Dungeon Keeper… and lost… again… TWICE! Level 6, you are my enemy.
Laundry is finished and my work clothes are packed for my bicycle ride to work tomorrow. I have an odd work schedule this week and next. And I am looking forward to the warmer weather for the bike rides to work.
It appears another crawfish boil is happening soon. Paul Ryburn reports in his blog that The Green Beetle downtown will host a crawfish boil Sunday, April 7, 2013. I hope you like crawfish Memphis, because we are getting a whole lot of mudbug festivals in the near future. Just another reason to read local blogs; Paul’s, ILoveMemphisBlog.com, & Hoppy Ever After to name a few.
