I buy stuff online. What do I buy? Books, music, electronic stuff, and bike stuff. Instead of attempting to keep up with this stuff on the blog posts, I figured I could just keep my purchases here. Check back here often. I will add more stuff to the list.
So here it is:
Folding Bicycle Basket. LOVE IT. I use it daily for my commute to work. GET ONE.
Yes, I now own TWO folding bicycle baskets. This bicycle basket is made by Bell.
I received Sammy Hagar’s book “Red” for Christmas.
Another book I received for Christmas is the Ace Frehley’s book “No Regrets“.
If you want to hear the “behind the scenes” stories of the band Kiss, this is a good book. I am reading the book now. Although the book does go into drugs and alcohol (yada yada yada, heard it before), there are many interesting stories about how songs and albums were created.
Another book I purchased recently was “Life” by Keith Richards.
I figure $3.99 is not a bad price to pay for an e-book.
The next book I purchased was “My Appetite for Destruction” by Steven Adler.
If you get kicked out of Guns and Roses for using to many drugs; now there is a story.
And the last book I purchased was “High Crimes” by Michael Kodas.
Everest has always fascinated me. I have read several books about the famed mountain and how men will attempt to climb and defeat the mountain, or be beaten by the beast. This book should be interesting. $1.99 for a book? I’m sold.
One book that I am still in the middle of is “The Vault” by Boyd Morrison.
I really enjoy the authors books.
Ipad Mini – Stayed up until 2:00 a.m. to purchase the 16 GB Wifi Ipad Mini. Now I can put ALL of my music on ONE player.
James Patterson – “The Murder of King Tut” – I downloaded the book from the Memphis Library. Great book, except I don’t buy the authors conspiracy theory.
SanDisk 16 GB MicroSD Card – I purchased this card for a micro camera and for my hacked Nook.
SanDisk 16 GB Memory Card – I needed this to transfer files from one computer to another.
Bicycle Tire Lights: I ordered these light blue lights for my bike tires.
GE 14 MP Digital Camera – Since I dropped the last camera, I replaced it.
Blue Neon Strobing Wire Light – I ordered this for my night time bike rides.
Mustaine – A Heavy Metal Memoir – The former member of Metallica tells all in his autobiography.
Triumph – US Festival (Live) Fantastic CD by the band performing in front of half a million people in the 80’s at the US Festival.
Accept- Stalingrad – Great music. The follow up to Blood of the Nations.
Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception – Good Game.
Iron Man: Tony Iommi: Good book.
Android & Nook SD Card – $10.00. Looking to change things up on my hacked Nook Color.

The $100 Startup – by Chris Guillebeau. A very good book for small business owners. Many good ideas and examples are included.
The Referral Engine: Teaching Your Business to Market Itself by John Jantsch (just ordered it 5/28/2012, good for small business owners!)
The Last Madam by Christine Wiltz. A gift for my wife, a tour guide in New Orleans said it was a great book.
Moneyball by Michael Lewis. Yes, the book that the movie is based on. GREAT book. If you enjoy baseball and stats, this one is for you. I loved the book.
The Ghost Map by Steven Johnson – I haven’t read this book yet. It was a present for my wife. I’ve been wanting to read this book for YEARS.
The King’s Speech: How One Man Saved the British Monarchy by Mark Logue, Peter Conradi. Haven’t read this either. A present for my wife.
Stitchway UltraPower 1900 mAh (BLACK) Backup Battery Charger for iPhone 4,4G, 3GS, 3G ,iPod, iTouch. Yeah, I use this often. Basically a backup charger for my Ipod.
The Social Network Soundtrack by Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross. Good music. I listen to it while out on my bicycle.
HDMI 3-In 1-Out HDMI Auto Switch with 1.5 ft. Cable. Great for a PS3 and a flat screen t.v. I don’t have to get up and plug stuff in or out. The switch does everything for me.
Belkin Conserve Socket F7C009q Energy-Saving Outlet. I use this for my laptop. Instead of letting the battery charge constantly, I just set the switch for 3 hours and the charging stops., saving me electricity.
Oh, and I also purchased the power strip. This cuts the power to the entire strip when one appliance is turned off. Lower my electric bill!
Avenir Universal XL Rear Rack (Black, Universal). Love it. Installed this on the back of my bike. I can mount a basket on back, or mount a side basket to the side of it.
