Waffle Wednesday Midtown. Get some.

I am beat! This weather takes the wind out of my sails.

A few notes today. I reported weeks ago that The Green Beetle downtown will hold a crawfish boil. Paul Ryburn reported the event information yesterday via his blog.

So here is yet ANOTHER crawfish event in Memphis. Sunday 4/7/2013  3-7 p.m. at the Green Beetle downtown. Go get yourself some mudbugs. Yum. If anyone is attending all three mudbug events this weekend (the Saturday CY Farmers Market crawfish event, the Cheffie’s crawfish event Sunday and the Green Beetle crawfish event Sunday) please let me know… how you did it.

The Levitt Shell posted the upcoming event list for 2013. Kerry at ILoveMemphisBlog.com has a great list of events at the Levitt Shell. Check out her blog here. (and read her blog daily!)

Need to know what “Choose 901” is all about? Even though I have heard of “Choose 901”, I was fuzzy about the details. The Memphis Daily News posted an excellent article about the organization. You mean we can use “research and intelligence” to promote our city? ‘Bout time. Cyclists, artists, and young professionals CAN make this city better. Wait. EVERYONE can make this city better. Pick up trash, volunteer, HELP OTHERS. Donate to worthy causes. Plant flowers. Read more here from The Memphis Daily News.

The Cooper Young Association is calling for artists to submit entries to create designs for two recycling containers in Cooper Young. I’ve thrown glass bottles into the containers in the past. Ya know what’s fun? Ride around Cooper Young on your bicycle on Sunday morning. Pick up the glass bottles left over from the night before. Deposit bottles into the recycle bin. Seriously. I get some exercise in AND make the neighborhood look good as well.

And lastly, I downloaded Bio Shock and Bio Shock II (PC version) from Game Fly for a grand total of $4.99 this morning. Yes, BOTH games for $4.99. And I have yet to play either games. Should be fun.

Done. Come on warm temperatures Memphis! We need to hit the patio’s. See YOU back here for more crawfish, music and 901.
