Finally Friday Midtown. Get ready to rock.

I am still reading my library book; “Heads in Beds” by Jacob Tomsky.

The book is great and you will find yourself laughing out loud. Plus there are tips for getting better service at hotels.

You will find excellent events posted using Twitter. I found this event in Cooper Young.

“Come to @youngavedeli Sat. the 2nd 4-6, grab a beer, meet the brewer & get a Memphis Made shirt. $15 cash. pic.twitter.com/OTLOl0Ptgk.”

Support local beer! Memphis Made Brewing is selling t-shirts at Young Ave. Deli. Sat. from 4-6. $15 cash and I am there.

Speaking of local beer, tomorrow is the Ghost River beer tasting at Whole Foods on Poplar, 1-5 p.m. Go!

Is it just me or are there a TON of beer events going on in Memphis right now and it is not Memphis Beer Week yet.

I accidentally ran across this article from Fuzzy Brew. The article has a good amount of information about the Cash Saver store on Madison and the beer selection in the store. Wow. Good stuff.

Done. I am beat. Time for a beer and a good book about hotels. Cheers.
